On April 21st, Easter Sunday, Widow’s Son #7 supported the LOVE AME Church in it’s “Kids Easter Egg Hunt After Service.” We donated 100+ eggs filled with candy contributing to the excitement and smiles of 50+ kids. Pastor Kris Natesan (pictured) thanks the brothers of WS7 for their continued support.

On Tuesday, March 19, WM James Jordan continued WS7’s support of the DC ReEnagement Center. This relationship was formed by Junior Past Master Charles Nelson in 2017. WM Jordan presented 50 brand new back packs and $200 in gift cards.  The DC ReEngagement Center (REC) is a “single door” through which youth ages 16-24 who have dropped out of secondary school can reconnect to educational options and other critical services to support their attainment of a high school diploma or GED.  Pictured, PM William Thompson, WM James Jordan, Ebony Todd (REC), PM Hasaan Ashaheed, and JD Lamont Brown.
