The Brothers of Widow’s Son#7 remain resolute in practicing charity during this pandemic. On April 8th, we partnered with WM Melvin Claiborne and Fellowship Lodge #26 to distribute bags of sandwiches, fruits, chips, and water to those in need in the DC areas of McPherson Square, Franklin Square, and Union Station.

On Tuesday, May 5th, we continued our partnership with Breast Care for Washington, and donated a combined total of $1,000.

“Dear Widow’s Son,

We are just blown away! Thanks to you Giving Tuesday exceeded our wildest expectations.  With your help, Breast Care for Washington was able to raise over $17,000 in support of our mission to increase access to high quality breast imaging.  In these challenging times we expect to see an increase in uninsured women needing our services.  Now, thanks to your donation, we will be ready.

Thank you for believing in us and thank you for supporting our mission.

With great appreciation from all of us at Breast Care for Washington – Beth, Regina, Amari, India, Pam, Emily, Liz, Donita, Takeesha, Sophia and Glenndaly”

Upcoming this Month – We are awaiting to receive shipment of 1,100 masks that will be donated to Children’s National Hospital of Washington, DC.
